Transforming project delivery: integrated project delivery

Abstract The design and construction industry has long suffered low productivity poor project outcomes. Collaborative approaches to delivery offer an opportunity transform outcomes by creating incentives in environment that incentivizes high performance. This paper examines integrated (IPD), a collaborative contractual approach alters project’s fundamental commercial, organizational, legal structures minimize dysfunction stimulate IPD’s basic are introduced, followed critical examination of current new research on IPD augmented the author’s insights from structuring over 150 projects.
